Asahi is best known internationally for its beer, but in Japan the brand extends deep into everyday convenience store life. Their Mintia mint tablets are a konbini fixture — pocket-sized, intensely flavoured, and found in virtually every checkout basket in the country. Mitsuya Cider, Japan's oldest carbonated soft drink brand and now part of the Asahi family, translates into candy form with the same crisp, lightly sweet flavour that's been refreshing Japan since 1884.
